Research Fundamentals

In keeping with the Mater culture of striving for exceptional care with the integration of clinical practice, research and teaching, Mater Research is presenting a series of short seminars in research methods, to be held every four weeks in 2016.

Sessions will be presented by A/Prof Ristan Greer PhD, Senior Biostatistician at Mater Research, who has many years’ experience in teaching and mentoring young researchers.

These seminars are informal in nature and comprise of a 30 minute presentation followed by a 15 minute discussion period. The emphasis is on the practical application of research methods, whether conducting research or evaluating research reports.

All Mater People, including clinicians and allied health staff, are welcome to attend these free seminars. Registration is not required.

Each session runs from 7.15 am to 8.00 am.
